Innisfree Color Glow Lipsticks - #1 Warm Black Tea Beige, #3 Romantic Autumn Rose *sponsored products*

Hallo hallow sweets! How are we all today?

Today I'm back with another Innisfree review. I've been pretty impressed by what I've tried from the brand so far - the melting foundation and bb cushion have been favourites of mine - so I was looking forward to seeing what their lipsticks are like.

Their Autumn themed range of Color Glow Lipsticks promise vivid pigmentation and a soft texture that's moisturising on the lips. I much prefer hydrating lipsticks over matte lipsticks, so these lippies are right up my alley.

There are 12 lippies in the range, and the shades range from pretty nudes, to trendy Autumnal shades. There's bound to be a shade for everyone ^_^

Innisfree's packaging is never overly fussy, rather focusing on clean and simple packaging. The Glow lipsticks come in off-white, matte finish plastic tubes, embossed with the brand name, and a coloured bottom to indicate the shade.

These have a net weight of 3.5 grams
Both tubes are about 95% twisted up

As the lippies are rather soft in texture, the bullets are protected by a thin metal casing.

These glow lipsticks have a similar buttery texture to Revlon's Lip Butters. They glide onto the lips really easily, but I find them lighter and slicker than the lip butters. The texture is also thinner and a bit more balm-like. These lipsticks contain Camelia oil to give that slick and hydrating feel. The finish is glossy, but not too shiny or wet looking.

The pigmentation is still good despite the thinner texture - though #3 Romantic Autumn Rose is more opaque compared to #1 Warm Beige, which is a sheerer nude shade.

I found #3 Autumn Rose really hydrating on my lips - and they didn't dry my lips out after a few hours of wear. Sometimes despite having a balmy texture, some lippies end up drying the lips after you remove it, but that doesn't happen here.

However #1 Warm Beige can really highlight flaky lips if you have them, so definitely only apply these over smooth lips. Aside from that I absolutely love the shade! I'm not a nude lips wearing girl usually, but this shade is really pretty <3

Lasting power isn't as great compared to normal cream lipsticks. Generally after 3 hours I'd definitely be in need of a touch up, less if I were eating and drinking beforehand.

Oh, one more thing I noticed with these lipsticks is that because the texture is so thin and balm-like, the formula can melt into lip lines, which can end up highlighting them. I noticed that particularly with shade #3, so I tend to wear these lippies over lip balm first, as I really dislike having noticeable lip lines, since they can look like wrinkles T_T

I reckon that'd only be a problem if you have deep lip lines though.

Other than that, if you like light, buttery lipsticks, I'd recommend these~!

Wearing shade #1 Warm Black Tea Beige, over lip balm. It's such a pretty shade - great if you're not too fond of vivid colours, or if you like to wear smokey eye make-up.

This is me wearing shade #3 Romantic Autumn Rose. I think it looks slightly deeper in person, whereas it photographed more lighter here.

This shade is one of the 'hot picks' of the range, since it's a very wearable colour - and not just suitable for Autumn, but all year round too.

You can grab any of these Innisfree Color Glow lippies on Beautynetkorea here, which retail around UDS$13.
