Etude House released a collaboration collection with Disney back in October, and I know a lot of you fell in love with it, because it featured the ever cute and stylish, Minnie Mouse!
Today I've got the two Kissing Lips lipsticks from the collection to review for you. I actually wanted to get the review up earlier, but a few weeks back I had a bit of a clumsy moment and deleted a few hundred new photos off my camera, so it took me a while to re-shoot them T_T
Anywho, I couldn't resist, and bought the two lipsticks as I just couldn't choose between either. Minnie Red is a glossy cherry red shade, and Bubble Pink is a milky pink shade (as described by Etude).
The packaging is just darling - I really find the Bubble Pink polka dot packaging so adorable and girlie!

The Kissing Lips lippies have exactly the sort of texture I like - they're creamy and glide onto the lips with ease. And they're hydrating! They didn't dry out my lips at all, and were comfortable to wear. I was sort of aware of the lipsticks on my lips due to the balmy texture, but it wasn't a heavy feeling.
If you have flaky lips I'd still recommend you prep your lips before hand, as although the lipsticks glide on with ease, the pink shade in particular may still show up any flaky bits.
Scent-wise, these lipsticks had a similar peach tea scent to the Sweet Recipe All Over Colours, but more fainter.
Pigmentation is decent from the first swipe, and the lasting power is okay. It's a glossy lipstick so it does tend to rub off easily, however if you don't eat or drink, the lasting power is about 3ish hours before it starts fading away. Minnie Red leaves a stain, but it does fade unevenly, so either removal or a continuous maintenance throughout the day would be required.

Bubble Pink is just the cutest colour - however it looks awful against my yellow skintone! It 'pops' on me, but not in a good way T_T
If I stand in really bright sunlight which bleaches my skin in photos, it can look cute, but in reality it just doesn't suit me *sigh*
Which is such a shame - but I think this shade would look so sweet and cute on fair and cool undertone skin types. If you have yellow undertones like me, you might be better off saving your money >_<
Minnie Red is an eye-catching red lippie that makes me feel grown up and a bit glam. It has a noticeably glossier finish compared to Bubble Pink, and is a pretty cherry red shade.

If you blot, or apply the red lippie softly, you can get a less glossy and vivid look too.

Overall I liked the formula of these Kissing Lips lippies - Bubble Pink ended up being a flop on me, but barring how the colour looked against my skin tone, I thought the quality of the lipstick was nice.
I'd actually like to see Etude release some more lippies with this formula in different shades in the future. I'd probably want to pick up one or two more, if the shades seemed cute ^_^
And if you haven't checked out my current giveaway yet, please do ^_^
