My Evening Skincare Routine - Part One of Two

Hi babes, how are we all? Today I'm just going to blab about my current evening skincare routine ^_^

I like looking at others bloggers' routines, and sometimes I even come away with a list of new skincare I want to try, so I hope this is of interest to you in the same way.

I think my skincare routine is relatively simple compared to some other beauty bloggers, but now that I've piled all the products together it suddenly looks quite complex! It's not, I promise, as many of these items I don't use all at once, or even everyday. Some I use weekly, some bi-weekly, and some hardly.

Join my Hello Spring! Giveaway~

Hi lovelies! Although my 2 year Blogversary is coming up next month, I couldn't wait that long to hold my next giveaway! So today I'm launching my Hello Spring! Giveaway for you gals~

Yes, I know it's only Spring for those of us in the Southern hemisphere (or it should be, but all Perth is getting is this dreary gray weather!), but what else can I call this prize pack full of floral-y, pinky, cutie goodness?

You can see I went for a certain theme - not only are the items pink (haha, I even colour coordinated the samples), but they all come together to create a fresh and naturally pretty make-up look, which is perfect for this Spring season.

I hope you'll all join in the fun! It's open internationally~

La Roche-Posay Sensi White Foaming Cream Review

La Roche-Posay has been a brand that's intrigued me, but which failed to make it's way into the clutch of my skincare-loving-hands, due to it's rather hefty price tag. They're a French brand, who specialises in skincare for sensitive skin, and they're quite well recommended by dermatologists. So when Priceline had a massive 40% off skincare sale a while back, the Sensi White Foaming Cream was tossed into my shopping basket without any hesitation (along with a crap-load of other stuff, as seen here).

I know that it's the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo that seems to be the star item of the brand, but as I don't have oily and problematic skin (I have dry-normal, and occasionally problematic skin), I decided to try something else. And the something else that caught my attention was the Foaming Cream.

Bright Pink Lipstick Day

Hi babes! I'm sorry about my tardiness in replying to your comments, and commenting on your blogs this past week! I'll be playing catch up over the next few days.

But that's not the point of today's post - I just found out that this Friday is Bright Pink Lipstick Day! Yeah, I must've been living under a rock or something to only find out about it now, lol.

Anyway, I'll be popping on a bright pink lippie this Friday the 20th, to show my support for raising awareness of breast and ovarian cancer.

Will you be joining me?

Don't forget to show your support by sharing a pic of you with your bright pink lippie on social media with the hashtags #brightpinklipstickday & #pinkhopeaus & #revlon

You can also show your support by donating, fundraising, or buying the limited edition Revlon Pink Hope lippie (at Priceline, Target or selected pharmacies). Visit the official Pink Hope website here for more info.

I don't know yet which pink lippie I'll be wearing this Friday - I'm going to have to go rifle through my lipstick collection now ^_^

I hope you gals will join me too, even those of you outside of Australia!

Speak to you soon, see ya!

Mizon All in One Snail Repair Cream Review

Hi girls, I'm back again! Yesterday I uploaded my review on the Snail Gel Cream from Mizon, and tonight I want to continue that with my thoughts on the All in One Repair Cream, which I've been using in conjunction with the gel (since they're from the same range, and recommended to be used together for best results).

I mentioned in yesterday's post that I found the gel to work reasonably well on diminishing any small blemishes that want to pop up, but that I didn't necessarily find it to live up to all the hype from many other bloggers' reviews. That's how I felt about the gel when used on it's own - but since I've been using this as an accompaniment to the Repair Cream for the last 2.5 months, I have to say the results turned out a lot better.

My skin's smoother, clearer, and I noticed a definite drop in the amount of blemishes I've been getting. I can hardly recall any major blemishes in the last two-ish months (minus the time my skin got bumpy from using the Olay Cleansing System).

Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream Review

Hi gorgeous girls! Today's review is an interesting one, because it's on one of the two snail secretion (read snail slime) moisturisers I'm currently using~

Snail secretion in skincare was quite the rage in Korea a year or two ago, so I am a bit late to the bandwagon, but after reading a whole heap of rave reviews I decided I just had to try this - even though the thought of it made me a bit squeamish! It's because the snail secretion supposedly has a whole heap of recovery/regeneration powers, that I decided I was willing to slather such stuff all over my face. A lot of reviews also claimed it was excellent for acne too, so that was another reason I wanted to try this.

Note that snails are not killed or harmed in order to harvest their slimy secretion!

August's Beauty and Fashion Hauling

Hello Lovelies! Welcome to August's Haul Post :)

August was a pretty fab month for me as there were quite a lot of good sales going on - particularly at Priceline (aka a money sucking vortex, lol). I replenished some of my fave skincare items, picked up a few new products and brands I've wanted to try, and my ever growing lipstick collection has expanded yet again...

Shall we begin?
