Olay Regenrist Advanced Cleansing System Review

Hi lovelies, I think a few of you have been waiting for the review of this Olay cleansing brush, so here it is! The Olay Regenerist Advanced Cleansing System is a battery operated cleansing brush, not un-similar to the well-loved Clarisonic Mia.

It's a much cheaper version of course, retailing here in Australia for about $29.95, while the Clarisonic is about $200! Now, I don't have the Clarisonic, so this review won't be a comparison post, but this may be of interest to you if you're interested in seeing whether electronic face brushes work better than cleansing with bare hands.

Weekly Photo Diary

Long term readers might remember that I used to do 'random filler' posts, where I blogged pictures from my phone/camera about interesting things I saw/did/ate. Well, I just realised the last time I did such a post was OCTOBER 2012!!!

I know some of you really enjoyed them, so I'm sorry I haven't kept up with it! I've been kind of filling the void of not doing these posts by posting my pics on tumblr, and more recently on instagram, instead. But I've decided to try and do a weekly (or fortnightly) photo diary blog post here too. Some weeks I honestly don't do much other than go to work and then spending my free time bumming around at home - maybe doing a photo diary will motivate me to do more interesting stuff!

Most, if not all, of these pics are off my phone, so the quality's not the best sometimes. But I hope it's a fun post anyway ^_^

Changes! Field of Tulips is now Kawaii Beauty Corner (new domain & facelift)

Hi girls - just wanted to announce that my blog has been going under a few changes!

I'm super excited to finally have my own blog domain - its something I've been contemplating for months and months. I've kind of struggled with taking this step, because I made the big decision to not stick with my current blog title, Field of Tulips.

Field of Tulips has been the identity of my blog for nearly 2 years now, and I'm very attached to it. However I always thought it never gelled with what I blog about - which is kawaii makeup! It actually took me months to even come up with a new name, but I'm confident it's the right one.

You may have already seen me using this name on my other social media, such as instagram and tumblr, so here it is.

Field of Tulips is now changing to Kawaii Beauty Corner

So now, instead of finding my blog under 'F' for Field, now I'll be a little further down on your blog list under 'K' for Kawaii~

And I've had to say goodbye to my very beloved tulips themed blog banner, with a new facelift to suit my new domain name. It's very different to the old theme, isn't it? I wanted the banner to look like a chocolate box lid, and I think it kinda does look like it could be the packaging for mint chocolates, so I'm quite happy! I also decided to veer away from the pink because I wanted a more 'grown-up' kawaii theme. But there's still a lot of girlie points, especially with the polka dot pattern~

I'm still fiddling around with the layout a bit, but nothing more major should be changing - if anything with the new layout looks weird coming up on your monitor, do let me know!

Thank you guys so much for following me, reading my posts, and supporting me on my blogging journey. I hope this new facelift will take my blog further and further, and I'll do my best to keep blogging about kawaii makeup and other kawaii things!

The 'What's In My Handbag' Tag

Hi loves! I'm happy the weekend is here now :)

Today's post I'm going to do the 'what's in my handbag' tag - I've wanted to do one for a while, but truthfully the stuff I carry around is very ordinary and not very interesting at all!

The above pic is the handbag I've been lugging around for the past week or two - it's a cream shoulder bag from one of my fave stores Forever New - I think half my handbag collection is from there, since they have such pretty handbags!

Arbonne's RE9 Advanced Extra Moisture Restorative Day Creme *sponsored product post*

Back with another Arbonne review for you girls - but this time it's a skincare item rather than a makeup item like last time (lipstick, blusher, and lip polish review here).

The Extra Moisture Restoratative Day Creme is especially formulated for drier and dehydrated skin types, and is part of a botanically based skincare range.

It's described as a "ultra-hydrating créme" and "features high concentrations of moisture enhancing ingredients that support collagen, and protect and restore skin's youthful appearance."

I've heard that collagen is important for maintaining skin elasticity and silkiness, so that's one of the reasons I was particularly interested in trying this out~

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation Review

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation

Hi lovelies! Hope you're all enjoying your week so far~

Today's review is on the Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation, which I'd been fortunate enough to receive to trial. Revlon quotes this foundation as "so light, it melts right in, working in harmony with your skin’s unique tone and texture for an even, fresh finish," as well as "vitamin and antioxidant-packed to pump up your natural glow and a nearly naked look that’s absolutely perfect.

Natural glow and a perfect, nearly naked skin look? Yes please!

Nature Republic Steam Cream Review (Normal/Dry Skin)

Hi lovelies! Today I want to talk a little about the Moist Stream Cream by Nature Republic. I picked this up during a 20% off sale from Cosmetic Love a while back - I'm always on the lookout for something to hydrate my dry and sometimes dehydrated skin.

Anyway Steam Cream is a bit of a hit in the UK, so when I saw this slightly more affordable version by Nature Republic I just had to try it! There are 3 varieties, but the one I picked is the Moist Steam Cream, which is for normal to dry skin types.
