Hi pretties! Today's post is just a round-up review of the last lot of Etude Sweet Recipe items I've collected. I've already posted full reviews on the Dear Jelly Lips lipsticks (JOR201, JOR203 & JPK004) here, and of the Cupcake All Over Colours (RD301, OR202 & OR201) here.
I'll try to make this post less review, and more swatching!.
After seeing some more reviews I saw that Blueberry Cheese Cake wasn't as blue toned as it appeared in the promo photos, and was too pretty a colour to pass up! And I decided to get Strawberry Chiffon Cake, as my current pink cream blusher was starting to get a bit icky and past its shelf-life.

If you haven't read my other reviews, these Cupcake All Over Colours are light, balmy textured cream blushers, eyeshadows, and lip colours. As cream blushers I think they are fantastic - they feel light on the skin, blend very nicely, and are nicely pigmented. On the down side, they tend to crease on the eyes, and are a bit drying on the lips, so I use these only as cream blushers.
Blueberry Cheese Cake is a really pretty pink with a lavender undertone colour. When applied very lightly and sheered out on the skin, it gives cheeks this lovely dewy luminance under certain lightings.
Strawberry Chiffon Cake surprised me a little as I found it to be the least pigmented of the entire collection. It's great if you like sheer colours, but I found I had to build up the colour a bit for noticeable pinkness on my cheeks. I have been looking for a sheer pink blush, so I find this looks nice when I want a very natural, sheer wash of colour.

Moving onto the Jelly Lipsticks! I'm such a fan of the hydrating balmy formula, and sheer but cute colours, that make my lips look shiny and pretty like jelly. I actually repurchased Grapefruit Orange (JPK004) because I just love the colour to bits, and was afraid of never finding anything like it again, lol.
And then I decided to get a few of the other colours too ^_^
|Strawberry Syrup (JPK002), Lemon (JBE101), Hot Pink (JPK003)|
Strawberry Syrup was the star colour in the Etude House promos, and I can see why. It's a gorgeous raspberry pink colour that makes lips look shiny and moist. It's not as pigmented as it looks in the tube, as it is a sheer lipstick, but I found the pigmentation really good, and it just takes a few swipes for good colour. I've been wearing this one a lot <3
Lemon is probably my only regret from my entire Sweet Recipe haul. I had initially gotten it to wear over lip tints, but after finding out that my lips don't take lip tints evenly, I don't really have much use for this clear gloss any more! Worn alone it's a transparent, yet glossy lipstick, with fine pink? and silver glitters that make lips look juicy and shiny (but not over the top). It's nice to wear on its own, but the downside is when it wears off, the glitters still remain on my lips.
Hot Pink is also an amazing colour. It's sort of a Barbie pink, and is seriously fun and girlie - I've been kind of obsessively wearing this one a lot too!
Check this post if you want to see the other Jelly Lipstick swatches I've done.

Wear time of these is not as long as regular cream/matte lippies due to the slick formula, however I really adore the hydrating feel, and the sheer but build-able colours, so reapplying more often is no disappointment for me.

And that concludes the final round up of my Sweet Recipe reviews ^_^
I think the Sweet Recipe Collection is probably my most favourite so far. Etude's released 3 more new collections since this one (which is crazy, because I cannot keep up at all!), but nothing's really piqued my interest aside from a few nail polishes and a lipstick or two - which is good for my wallet!
