Big Grang Grang Brown Circle Lens Review

Just a quickie review for you today, on the lenses that I've been wearing in many of my posts from the last month or two! The GEO Big Grang Grang Brown lenses have been my go to lenses for their enlargement, and cute honey brown colour.

They actually come in two sizes - 14.2mm for those who like a more natural enlargement, and 15mm for those who want maximum enlargement. My review is on the 15mm version~

I was initially attracted to the Grang Grang lenses due to the light, honey brown colour. I was curious to see if it would lighten my dark brown eyes, and I can say they do somewhat, but not to a huge degree.

The colour blends quite naturally into my dark brown eyes - the outer limbal ring is a medium dark brown rather than the common black, so I think they do look more natural overall. They give a dolly look without looking too glassy or blank, due to it's pretty pattern ^_^

Though the pattern is not very obvious on me, I think it does help to give my eyes a bit of dimension as they are just very dark and don't have much of a pattern naturally.

For a 38% water level content, I find these quite comfortable to wear. I haven't experienced any discomfort with wearing these, though occasionally they will feel drying, so keeping eye drops at hand is always a good thing.

At 15mm diameter they enlarge my eyes quite a lot, but due to the more naturally medium toned limbal ring in place of stark black, I feel like these don't look exceptionally large. Other 15mm lenses I've tried have given a more extreme enlargement effect.

Though initially disappointed that these honey coloured lenses didn't lighten my dark brown eyes noticeably, I did come to love the dimension and brightness they added to my eyes. They're a very wearable lens as the colour is not unnatural, and the pattern not extreme. I ended up liking these so much, I intend to get this pair in the dark brown version next! If you want something sweet and pretty, without a crazy noticeable pattern, then this is a great pair to have ^^
