Mid-week update - Adventure Time, Macarons & charming French Accents...also ZOMG Thank You for 150 followers!

Hi, how is everyone?

I'm here to show you what I've been up to lately...nothing exciting, but oh well~

First up, macarons from Maison Saint-Honor√©! I was feeling put out after spending ages at Priceline looking for a new gel eyeliner and a face illuminator, and coming out with zilch. These are two products I use fairly often so I didn't want to order them online and wait 3 or so weeks for them to arrive T_T

About to head home in defeat I was heading out when my attention was caught by a little stall set up outside of Woolworths. There was a colourful display of perfect, round, cute looking macarons and I just naturally gravitated towards them...

They were $2.00 each, which I thought was an agreeable price. And the guy selling them had the most charming French accent! I bought 4 to bring home and share - the pistachio, salted caramel, violet, and the raspberry macarons. I think my favourite was the violet, but the salted caramel was really nice too~

On the weekend my sis and I went to the movies to watch Adventure Time. My brother bought the tickets after seeing the special weekend-only promotion. It's a popular kid's cartoon, following the wacky adventures of a boy named Finn, and his talking dog, Jake. It was basically just a one hour show featuring 4 or 5 episodes.

I found it so interesting comparing watching cartoons as kids, to watching as an adult now. It's amazing how much adult humour and innuendos can be jammed into a children's cartoon ^0^

We got a free 'Finn' hat as part of the promotion. The cinema was filled with kids and even adults wearing these!

Afterwards, we did a little bit of shopping. Jay Jays is currently having a 'warehouse' sale and I managed to pick up a few casual tops, and a floppy hat.

I really love this!

My sis picked up a grey fedora, a scarf, and 2 tops as well. A good haul overall!

A few days later I was walking past Equip and saw that they were having an insane 5 for $10 clearance, so of course I had to check it out! I found this adorable leopard print usamimi hairband. It's a horrible pic, but the bow has wires inside so that they will stand up like bunny ears when worn <3

I'm so into leopard print hair accessories right now, for some reason~

And here are the 4 other items I picked. 3 silver bracelets, and a cute little ring with a bird standing on top of the band.

Also, a big shout out for the following lovely bloggers who've tagged me with various awards this past month

One of these day's I'll get around to doing these question tags...

I just don't understand why companies never bother to seal their products properly. I mean, if they were to package with a plastic seal or something, then consumers can tell if something have been opened no? If it's just the little piece of sticker, people can just peel it off and stick it back on.

Aww, thanks for your comment! I'll be replying or visiting your blog soon ^.^
