Sasa haul~! aka ZOMG, why is everything so cute!

Hi hi, I'm back to show you my recent Sasa haul~!
I have to say, after the package came I was in a great mood for the rest of the day - probably due to a bout of cuteness overload. Asian brand cosmetics really do hit the mark with their packaging, don't you think?

Sasa had a huge range of products on sale during Chinese New Year, and when I saw that Sasa had started stocking Diamond Lash falsies, I decided to pounce. They were much cheaper compared to eBay, and I had to restrain myself to 2 sets - the ones I've been lusting after the most these past few months.

These two are the Angel Eye and Glamorous Eye lashes. They looked so beautiful on the models I just had to have them, even though I'm afraid they might be too 'flashy' for me. Below are the pics that convinced me to buy ^^

Angel Eye - sorry, I can't remember the source of these 2 pics, they've been on my PC a few months already.
Glamorous Eye

Practically dying from the cuteness of this strawberry yoghurt cleanser. The packaging is one of the sweetest I've seen - it looks like a small tub of frozen yoghurt, and smells like it too. Almost too pretty to use <3

I purchased 2 boxes of My Beauty Diary sheet masks. This brand seems to be very popular amongst bloggers I visit, so I thought I'd give it a go. And since my skin needs some hydration lately, I picked the strawberry yoghurt and chocolate truffle sets.

Even the plastic wrapper that gets thrown away is so cute 0_o

This 36 colour palette was purchased to practice my make-up. The pots are quite small (about the size of a thumb nail?), but the range and value seems perfect for a beginner like me, costing $7.20 AUD.

The rest of the haul consists of bits and bobs ~ cherry lip balm, brow mascara (I'm thinking of colouring my hair), and my gift with purchase is a pen that looks like a lipstick! Also bought powder puffs and in-shower massage gloves.

And that's the end of my Sasa haul. This month I will try not to visit the site because I am sure they will have some sort of Valentine's Day promotions, and I really should try to reign in my on-line shopping sprees!

Speaking of shopping sprees, here's my 'beauty needs shopping list' for February - I swear I'm gonna stick to it, anything not on this list will have to wait till next month!

~Fairydrops Candy Bar bb cream from Pretty&Cute $39.99+$5.19 shipping (before 5% discount code)
~Etude tear drop liner from eBay $4.93+$2.80 shipping
~acrylic false nail tips from eBay  *purchased* $2.99
~nail art/deco supplies from eBay *undetermined - setting a $15 limit*
~natural looking lower eyelashes from eBay $2.50
~sponge hair bun styling clip $1.00 from ebay
~Tanima guard (like hollywood tape) from eBay *purchased* $1.99

If I space out the purchases, like one or two per week, I should be able to comfortably ride out the month without going overboard on frivolous spending XD
But then again, looking at my list, a lot of the items could be classified as frivolous anyway! Well, at least I've set some limits, right?

Before I go, just to let you know that I'm on Facebook now~ I don't really know why, but I thought it might be fun and useful. For now it'll probably be just for updating whenever a new blog post comes up, or posting silly, random pics. You can find me by clicking on the widget under my 'about me' section or clicking here, hope to see some of you there, thanks!

Take care, and happy weekend!

  13. Nice haul! I'm really digging those lashes. After I visited the SaSa in Hong Kong I was in love with that place, they have so many more products then the online store.

And I know what you mean about having to restrain from shopping sprees, there are just so many things I want to buy but have to hold back.

  14. Those are some pretty lashes! Gotta try that :) Are the My Beauty Diary masks good? I see them all the time in the drugstores but I was a little reluctant to buy it before reviewing it. Perhaps you could tell me what you think about them? My sister and I have been hot for facial masks lately, it'd be nice to try out a new brand ;) The palettes in my country are so expensive so I don't buy them. I love the colors in your new 36 color palette, it's definitely handy to experiment and practice makeup, I want one!! :)

    Have a great day!

  18. I favor the Strawberry Yogurt masks a bit more than the truffle because I love strawberries. It smells sooo good and makes the skin feel so soft afterwards ^^

  19. Out of all the masks... My favorite is prolly the Black Pearl mask because it has whitening qualities as well as moisturizes well. It help lighten acne scars I had ^^
