Traipsing through Chinatown

Chinese New Year is just around the corner so me, Mum, Grandma, and Aunty went into the city to do some shopping in Chinatown. Well, the 'adults' did the serious shopping - I was content to just go to the confectionery/snack section and drool over all the yummy stuff ^0^

We went to several Asian grocers/supermarkets and bought a lot!
The first pic above is of a small grocery store run by a Vietnamese family. It's absolutely tiny and cramped inside, but a very busy place. I love going here because of the roast pork belly sandwiches they sell. They're super, super yummy.
The second pic is a random shot of some New Year's snacks on display at another store. I really like the colourful presentation , but of course some of the snacks inside taste really weird, lol.
I bought some lollies, some biscuits with pineapple jam filling and food for lunch.

My lunch. Bread with roast pork, salad, and pate spread, and a grape flavoured soda. How can such a seemingly simple sandwich taste so delicious? I already feel like having another one...

That's it for today. Thanks for reading~
